EQUITAS RESOURCES INCREASES PRIVATE PLACEMENT
November 2, 2010 - Equitas Resources Corp. (TSXv: EQT) (FSE: T6U1) (the “Company”)
announces that the private placement previously announced on October 6, 2010 has been over-
subscribed.
The private placement will now consist of a total of 1,350,000 units at a price of $0.12 per unit
for gross proceeds of $162,000. Each unit will consist of one common share and one share
purchase warrant, exercisable into one additional common share of the Company for two years,
at a price of $0.13 per share. The securities issued will be subject to a four-month hold period.
The private placement remains subject to the approval of the TSX Venture Exchange.
The proceeds of the private placement will be used to initiate work on the Company's Day
Copper-Gold Porphyry Project in the Toodoggone Region of north-central British Columbia and
for general working capital.
The Company also announces that it has received a total of $334,126 from the exercise of
3,341,260 share purchase warrants at a price of $0.10 per share. The warrants were to expire
in January and October, 2011. The proceeds received from the exercise of the warrants will be
used towards the Company’s continued exploration and development of its properties and for
general working capital.
