Wunder2’s Alexa Skill
Wunder2 is the first cosmetic brand to
launch an Alexa skill which offers makeup
hacks and product recommendations
through a platform named “Beauty Tips.”
Over the next few weeks, they will also
release videos alongside the skill that users
can follow on their phone, computer or TV.
This move comes as we see consumers using
voice more and more for making purchases.
This year, 19% of consumers have made
purchases through a voice-controlled device,
with 33% planning to do so in 2018.

Pokémon Go maker Niantic is working on a
follow-up game that is Harry Potter-themed
and includes augmented reality features, just
like its predecessor. In the new game, players
find and fight fantastic beasts in the real-
world. It's called Harry Potter: Wizards
Unite. 
The first game, Pokémon Go, was a huge
success, with 45million players at its peak
times and over $1.2 billion in sales. Harry

Opening In VR
Sweety High, an online content platform for
young people carried out a survey with over
600 girls aged between 13 and 22 to discover
more about what influenced their gift-giving
and receiving behavior.
They found that 58% of girls aged 13 to 16
wanted gifts that would bring them more
likes and shares, or that are “Instagram-
worthy.” This number decreased as they got
older. They also discovered that slightly more
girls would rather receive a digital gadget as
a holiday gift over beauty products (51% Vs
49%).

Appointment
Amsterdam is testing the Personal Security
Pass pilot that enables travelers to reserve a
time slot for going through security. Schipol
Airport is alleviating travelers’ pain point of
waiting in long lines just to be checked by
security. 
Travelers can book their slots on the airport’s
app and website, starting up to four days
before the flight and until 1 hour and 15
minutes before takeoff. The customer gets a
QR code that is scanned by security staff.
When everything is in order, the traveler
goes to a self-service security gate.

Nike and Google worked on a project called
Nike Hyper Court. This consists of several
(so far) basketball courts placed across
Manila in the Philippines, which are
artistically painted with murals of various
NBA stars.
The courts are a mix of digital and physical
characteristics, as users of the courts are
able to access Nike content via their
smartphones without using up any of their
data. This content includes training drills for
various types of players to help young
people improve their game.

WHATISHAPPENING IKEA’s New Store Opening In VR Sweety High, an online content platform for young people carried out a survey with over 600 girls aged between 13 and 22 to discover more about what influenced their gift-giving and receiving behavior. They found that 58% of girls aged 13 to 16 wanted gifts that would bring them more likes and shares, or that are “Instagram- worthy.” This number decreased as they got older. Schipol Airport is alleviating travelers’ pain point of waiting in long lines just to be checked by security.  Travelers can book their slots on the airport’s app and website, starting up to four days before the flight and until 1 hour and 15 minutes before takeoff. This consists of several (so far) basketball courts placed across Manila in the Philippines, which are artistically painted with murals of various NBA stars. The courts are a mix of digital and physical characteristics, as users of the courts are able to access Nike content via their smartphones without using up any of their data.
