the liquid level.

(2) After marble put in,
wtaer level = 62.5
cubic cm
(3) Volume of the marble
= 62.5 cubic cm – 60
cubic cm
= 2.5 cubic cm

A liquid has no definite shape
but has a definite volume.
Having a definite volume makes a liquid
hard to be compressed.
8. Gases
A gas has no definite shape
and no definite volume.
Therefore, it can be COMPRESSED easily.
