Software Tester
Project: Holidays Phase 2
easyJet brought phase 2 of holidays and Sopra along with Hotelbeds has testing teams for this critical and tight
scheduled project. A team of two members for UAT was made . Phase 2 consisted of the major GUI changes and some
data handover changes by incorporating some new third parties targeted to increase the revenue by increasing the
number of booking from 20 per day to 200 per day.
Roles / Responsibilities : Tester
● Analyzing the Business requirements, and involved in Queries and requirements discussion meetings with
team.
● Preparing UAT scenarios and test cases.
● Smoke testing and Exploratory testing of the build available.

2. ● Supporting Automation team for Providing Project knowledge.
● Supporting Automation team for providing Exploratory scenarios and Test cases in BDD format and logging
defects from automation team.

Brought onboard to work on the easyJet Web Team which involves end to end functional testing of easyJet website.
easyJet website accounts for approx. 95% of the all of the bookings done. Besides easyJet website, B2B and
VT100(Call centre) are other ways through which bookings can be done.
Roles /Responsibilities: Tester
● Analyzing the Business requirements, and involved in user stories understanding meetings with team.
● Developing test cases documents.
● Execution of the Acceptance Test cases on each builds after the build deployment.

Sopra fetched a product from easyJet , that includes testing of easyJet’s website on different browsers and operating
systems through which GUI checklist and functionality was verified. A automation framework was prepared using
eggplant in SenseTalk language with the help on onsite developers and complete control of execution and modification
of script was taken from onshore.

● Creating and executing the Test Scripts using eggplant and executing the same.
