5. I presented to the Float Pool Unit Practice
Council for Poudre Valley Hospital and
Medical Center of the Rockies.
This is a great audience because these nurses work at
many of the floors on both hospitals, and we
therefore have widespread influence.
The audience was receptive and had a variety
of personal experiences with Palliative
Medicine (all positive!)
6. My presentation is quick and easy to read, it
can be altered to serve as a quick tool to share
with many different people and bring
awareness to the palliative medicine service,
specifically, to help define palliative medicine
and how it can serve our patients.
