MULTIPLE INTELLIGENCE'S THEORY

                • the ability to create an
                  effective product or offer
a service that is valued in
                  a culture;

                • a set of skills that make it
                  possible for a person to
                  solve problems in life;

                • the potential for finding
                  or creating solutions for
                  problems, which involves
                  gathering new
                  knowledge.
MULTIPLE INTELLIGENCE THEORY

• Spatial • Musical

• Linguistic • Interpersonal

• Bodily- kinesthetic
FINDINGS

Mrs. H. used many of Gardner’s multiple intelligences

to meet all the student’s needs. She was a great

teacher and she knew how to reach each student.
SPATIAL

After the students completed writing sentences they
would draw pictures to visualize what they wrote
about.
LINGUISTIC

No matter what kind of work the students did in class
they always wrote sentences about their work

• Ex: If the students were learning about penguins
they would write sentence and then draw about
 picture
LOGICAL- MATHEMATICAL

In class we played a lot of addition and subtraction
games on the smart board. Their were also math
included in the morning work.
BODILY-KINESTHETIC

Everyday the students practice their letter sounds.
Each letter sound has a special movement and I
noticed that it really helped the students to learn. I
began trying to learn them for myself so I can teach
my future class.
MUSICAL

Every morning after the morning announcements
and morning work the students did calendar. They
song a days of the week song and a months of the
year song. The songs were very catchy and helped
the students remember their days and months.
INTER/INTRAPERSONAL

Mrs. H did an group work to meet the needs of those
students that were interpersonal learners, but she also
did individual work for students that were
intrapersonal learners (like myself )
NATURALISTIC

For students that were naturalistic learners, Mrs.
H, taught about animals, the students went outside
and explored and they also collected unique looking
rocks for the classroom.
PRACTICAL IMPLICATIONS

This is one of my favorite theories and after seeing it
put to work in an actual class setting I will definitely
use it in my future classroom. As a future teacher I
have to understand that every student learn
differently and it is my job to learn how to teach
them.
