Study Degrees
- Bachelor Degree: Admitted at the University in Tehran in 1994 and Graduated with the
grade of A in Directing of Cinema in 1997
- Passing several examinations, admitted for Master Degree in the Theatre and film
National University of Bulgaria (Natfa) in 1999
- 2 years later, I continued my PHD at the same university in the mentioned field.
- In 2006, I defend successfully my PHD with the highest mark (18 positive votes from
18 arbiter professors) and obtained my PHD diploma in Direction of film & Television.
Work Experiences
In 1995 I started making Documentary films for The Iranian National Television, and up
until 1999, I released a series of different documentary films for internal and
“New Energies”, “Return of Immigrants”, “Iran my Country” are;international channels
some examples.
Between 1996- 1998, I worked as a chief editor at Iranian National Radio.
In 1996 I made my first short film “Setar”.
In 1998 I made a short student film (16mm) called “Ezafi”.
During 2000-2007 I worked as a coordinator in Bulgaria. I organized the 7 day Iranian
movies program, in different Bulgarian cities with the help of different movies
organizations, a total of 4 times.
In 2003 I made one short film (16 mm) “Tukelenge”, which was a student film.

2. I made an independent documentary film, titled “Don’t panic, we’re Islamic”. In this film,
the life of Bulgarian Muslims who live peacefully with Christians was shown. This film
was presented at different European film festivals, including Sarajevo and the Sofia Film
Festival.
I also worked for approximately one year and a half in the multi-camera studio of the
news room of Sedom Deni TV (until this network was sold) which was one of the four
Bulgarian UHF TV channels as a switcher.
Between 2006- 2008 I made fifteen TV teasers for different companies in Bulgaria. I
was also cameraman in a few of them.
Lecturer
In 2008, I taught mass media and also Iranian film and theatre history at the
National University of Sofia-St.Kliment Ohridski, to the students of oriental studies
for two Semesters.
In 2013, I was teaching a workshop at Lund University (senior lecturer) about film editing
Between 2008- 2010 I made (writer- Producer-second camera & Director) twelve
documentary films (4 series) in English for I.R.I.B, about social and political issues in
Bulgaria, Ukraine and Poland.
Between 2011- 2012 I made two TV teasers and one promo film(Producer-second
camera & Director) for a few companies in Sweden.
Between 2013- 2014 I was working as a TV director at a Kurdish TV channel in Malmo. I
made one 45-minute program each week.
In June 2013, I was working as a director for the live TV show (multi-camera studio.)For
the same TV channel.
In December 2013, I made a long documentary film about problems for Iranian
student in Sweden after NU sanctions against Iran were introduced. this film was shown
3 times on National American Tv channels VOA( 2015 )
In January 2014, I made 2 “Music Video” in Sweden for two Bulgarian and Kurdish artist.
Between 2014-2015 we working on a big film project – serein film (Rahe bi payan)
in Uppsala. We shoot a part of this film and we will continue. I am film director in this
project.
In Summer 2015, we working and filming part of my big Documentary project ,about
Muslims who live on top of Arctic Circle in Sweden.
In September 2015. was great Iranian animation nights that , I and our ssociation( ISCEA)
organized in Lund university.
In Oct&Nov 2015 we filming about one famous Swidish runner( Kristina Paltén) who
crossing Iran from north-west to north- east.This Doc.film will be on Swedish TV channel
in 2016.
I have my own company called “Nordic AV Production” in Sweden, and I
have also my own film production equipment.

Other relevant experience:
Professional cameraman (especially for news) and working with different types of
professional TV cameras and system cameras (5D, Blackmagik, RED…..).
