2. Chemotherapy used in different clinical settings:
1.Primary induction: The primary treatment for patients with advanced cancer for
which no treatment exists.
2.Adjuvant chemotherapy: It is used to microme-tastatic disease at a time when tumor
burden is at minimum. It is also called as post-operative chemotherapy and can be
used when there is little evidence of cancer present, but there is risk of re-currence.
