Dr. Mirtchev is a prominent U.S. expert in international economic policy and
geopolitics. His strategic advice is widely solicited by leading entrepreneurs ,
major corporations, law firms, U.S. and international media.
Dr. Mirtchev is President of Krull Corp., a macroeconomic consultancy with a
focus on emerging economic security trends and policy challenges. During the
course of his career, he has served, among others, as Chairman of a
sustainable development fund, Board member of a sovereign wealth fund,
as Chairman of a joint venture with a high-end risk-mitigation services NASDAQ-
listed corporation and a Director at top-rated Washington, D.C. law firm
representing mainly U.S. clients in international trade remedy proceedings as well
as WTO negotiations.
In the public policy domain, Dr. Mirtchev serves as Vice Chair, member of the
Executive and Strategy Committees, as well as member of the board to the
Atlantic Council of the United States. Dr. Mirtchev also participated in the
founding of the Council to the Kissinger Institute on China and the U.S. at the

member of the Wilson National Cabinet and senior fellow. He contributed to the
international defense and global economic security policy realm as Vice-President
of the Royal United Services Institute for Defense and Security, RUSI, the most

RUSI International.
In his academic life, Dr. Mirtchev is currently a Professional fellow and
Distinguished Senior Fellow at the School of Policy, Government and International
Affairs at George Mason University, VA. He obtained an LL.M. degree in
International and Comparative Law at George Washington University,
Washington, D.C., and has a Ph.D. in Philosophy from St. Kliment Ohridski
University, where he was an Associate professor. He studied economics and
finance at the London School of Economics and Harvard Business School. He also
received an Honorary Doctorate of Political Science from the Russian Academy of
Sciences and an Honorary Doctorate from the Ukrainian Academy of Foreign
Trade.
Dr. Mirtchev is the author of several monographs and policy articles has served as
editor and publisher of academic and professional journals, and served as a
member of the Fox Business “Wall Street Week” Advisory Board.
He enjoys classical philosophy, opera, painting, and is collecting Noel Coward
artwork and ancient Greek Tanagra figurines.
