Internet and automation, IT is no longer only for

finance, healthcare, hospitality, logistics and
many more recognise the importance of good IT
infrastructure.

4. Priorities for The e-government
• Minister of Energy and Coal Industry Yuriy
Prodan has said that gas production in Ukraine
needs to be increased, particularly from
unconventional sources. Prodan recalled
resources that may be involved in shale gas
production, currently estimated at 30 trillion
cubic meters of gas. He also believes that
“concrete results in terms of gas production by
Shell will be in the next two years.”
5. Priorities for The e-government
• He also stressed on the importance of
implementation in Ukraine of the Initiative on
Transparency in Extractive Industries that will
attract investment and said that work is being
done to strengthen energy security in the
nuclear industry, including the nuclear fuel
supply and construction of storage for nuclear
fuel.
