Project title : DESIGN AND FABRICATION OF FISH SCALE REMOVER MACHINE
Software used : CREO v2.0 used to generate the 2D sketch and 3D solid model of fabricated
model
Benefits of project : It is the mechanical version of stepper motor. It works on easily remove the
fish scale for portability and less maintenance.

Project title : NEW PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT USING
REVERSE ENGINEERING AND RAPID PROTOTYPING
Software used : AutoCAD 2010, CATIA v5
Aberlink 3D is the machine software of Saphire 464 (CMM)
Catalyst EX v4.4 is the machine software of Dimension 1200sst (3D
printer)
Machines used : Saphire 464 (Co-ordinate measuring machine) at “K.L.N
College of Engineering”, Madurai
Dimension 1200sst (fused deposit modular-3D printer) at “Thiagarajar
College of Engineering (TCE)”, Madurai
Benefits of project : Reverse Engineering (RE) technology enables us to create CAD models of
new or existing products by capturing cloud point data. In this project a
surface is created by combining two analytical curves (circular & elliptical).
Based on the scanned data, the surface is checked analytically and with the
help of created data we will able to predict the Product or physical part.
