Done a final year project in “INTRODUCTION OF SAP SETTING FIXTURE TO
ACHIEVE TOE-IN FOR BOSS TRUCK”.
And also I done this project in ASHOK LEYLAND COMPANY.
Description: In this paper, we present the SAP (straight ahead position setting) setting
fixture to increase the perfection, and reduce the time consumption for alignment of wheels in
boss truck. This technique provides to increased flexibility in steering of the vehicle, enabling it
to have a high degree of accuracy in handling. Using this fixture in boss truck we found that
straight position of wheels were maintained and 8:20 position of steering wheels were found to
be ok.
