2. The 2018 ACSM Team Physician Course
A seasoned entrepreneur, Sean Southland founded Performance Research Sciences, a
neurological research facility that creates technologies and treatment methodologies.
Beyond his work, Sean Southland is a member of the American College of Sports
Medicine (ACSM), which represents over 70 occupations within the sports medicine field

3. The 2018 ACSM Team Physician Course
The ACSM holds several annual events and offers an array of courses intended to
improve the skills of its members, including its Team Physician Course (TPC). Available
to sports medicine professionals, such as residents, physical assistants, and nurse
practitioners among others, the TPC is a yearly course that offers interactive workshops
to help participants fill knowledge gaps and become more well-rounded professionals.
The course addresses several topics, including immunology, psychology, and muscle
overuse.
