Digipaks are a style of CD case made of cardboard that folds out like a book, containing a plastic tray to hold the CD and often additional artwork and information booklets. They are more durable than traditional jewel cases due to their material, and while viewed as higher quality, digipaks have grown popular for special editions but are still less commonly used than regular jewel cases for CDs.
