KSSIDC was established in 1960 in Karnataka to promote and develop small industries in the state. It provides various services like establishing industrial estates, procuring and distributing raw materials, and supplying machinery. Some of its major projects include establishing a tool room training center, garment complexes, and multi-storied complexes. Entrepreneurs benefit from ready to use infrastructure in industrial estates and assistance through schemes. KSSIDC has established over 150 industrial estates statewide and aims to continue developing small industries through new projects.
2. • KSSIDC was established on 29th April 1960.
• The registered office of the Company started functioning at
Bangalore in the State of Karnataka.
• The Company framed complete and well-defined Memorandum of
Association and Articles of Association.
• This permit the Corporation to take up any activity aimed at the
rapid development of small-scale industry .
4. • KSSIDC is rendering services to the small sector in the State for
more than 40 years.
• From 1960 KSSIDC took over the activities relating to the
management and setting up of industrial estates and distribution of
raw materials and started to give a new orientation to this aspect of
development.
• The Corporation started with an initial share capital of Rs.10 lakhs,
which were gradually stepped up.

9. 1. A prestigious Government Tool Room Training Centre (GTTC) was
established at Industrial Estate Rajajinagar.
2. An exclusive garment complex has been established at Rajajinagar
Industrial Estate to accommodate garment units.
3. Multi-storied complexes were established at Electronic City
industrial estate Bommasandra to accommodate electronic
industries and Software Technology units.
10. 1. Multi-storied Commercial Complex established at Industrial Estate
Shimoga and Gulbarga .
2. Power loom sheds for KSPDC at Siguli was established.
3. Morarji Desai Residential School Complexes at five places in
Karnataka was established.
13. • The Company has entered into an Karnataka State Industrial
Investment Development Corporation to construct Information
Technology and Bio-technology park in Rajajinagar Industrial Estate,
Bangalore at a cost of 37 Crores.
• The land owned by company to the extent of 1.6 Acres has been
leased out on Built Operated On Transfer (BOOT) system for 30
years

• For starting an SSI Provisional Register Certificate( PRC ) is must.
• After registering in DIC they will give 2years of time for planning
