Introduction
Dyneon™
LTFE 6400 is a technically advanced low temperature, peroxide-cured fluoroelastomer.
It is designed to meet the challenging demands of the automotive, aerospace and chemical
processing industries, requiring low temperature sealing in chemically aggressive environments.
LTFE 6400 offers a unique low temperature sealing capability of TR10 = -40°C as well as broad
chemical resistance.
Product Form
LTFE 6400 is packaged in slab form and is available in 2.2 lb (1 kg) and 55.1 lb (25 kg) boxes.
Safety/Toxicology
Before processing Dyneon™
Fluoroelastomers, read and follow all precautions and directions
for use contained in the product label and Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS). General handling
precautions and directions for use include: (1) Store and use all Dyneon fluoroelastomers
only in well ventilated areas; (2) Do not smoke in areas contaminated with dust from Dyneon
fluoroelastomers; (3) Avoid eye contact; (4) After handling Dyneon fluoroelastomers wash
any contacted skin with soap and water. Potential hazards, including evolution of toxic vapors,
can occur during compounding or processing under high temperature conditions. When
compounding, be sure to read and follow all precautions and directions for use from other
compound ingredient suppliers.
Technical Information and Test Data

of all express and implied
warranties (including
warranties of merchantability
and fitness for a particular
purpose): If a Dyneon
product is proved to be
defective, Dyneon’s only
obligation, and user’s only
remedy, will be, at Dyneon’s
option, to replace the
quantity of product shown
to be defective when user
received it or to refund user’s
purchase price. In no event
will Dyneon be liable for
any direct, indirect, special,
incidental, or consequential
