Nataz was opened by Rick McClain in 1996. The restaurant is named after his
oldest daughter Natasha. Nataz is very involved in the local community and
participates in a number of fundraisers. Most recently, Nataz participated in a
fundraiser for the local dog park where they helped to raise $4,000. Nataz is

4. Country Paint and Hardware

carries on a family business that was opened in 1977. Country Paint and
Hardware is located in Fairwood Plaza on Route 80 in North Branford,
where you can still find the same old-fashioned service that began years
ago.
5. Pastry Fusion

Frank Apuzzo took his passion for baking and turned it into the successful bakery he
has today. Pastry Fusions is a pastry shop specializing in Italian pastries, wedding
cakes, gourmet desserts and all occasion cakes, located in North Branford, Conn.
Apuzzo considers his business a family business, and includes his wife Laurie and
their two sons Joey and Jake in the everyday control of the bakery.
6. Mamsco

Mike and Ann Marshal started their business in 1986 in the basement of their home.
Today they exist in their 5,000 square foot retail space and are proud to say that
customer service is number one to them. They offer their customers their signature

Laurie Boudiear started her painting business in 1986 after learning the trade from her
dad during summer vacations from school. Today she carries on the family tradition,
where you can at times see her painting with her sister Cindy. Home based in North
