Taswiyeh – When & Where?
TASWIYEH – Promoting Amicable Consensus 4
Why Should You Settle?
 The primary goal of Taswiyeh is for the parties to work out a
solution which they can agree on and keep any dispute out of court.
It resolves the problem and looks to preserving relationships in
the future.
 We are peace makers.
 We have very high rates of success in achieving results acceptable
to both sides in a dispute.
 However, if this is not possible, our team of qualified
experts can help resolve cases through Arbitration or
litigation.
Why Should You Settle?
TASWIYEH – Promoting Amicable Consensus 5
When Should You Settle?
Taswiyeh is usually practiced when:
 The law cannot provide the remedy you want.
 You want to end a problem and not a relationship.
 You want to settle disputes promptly.
 You cannot bear the expenses incurred from the
litigation process provided by other law firms.
When Should You Settle?
TASWIYEH – Promoting Amicable Consensus 6
How does Taswiyeh work?
 We negotiate on behalf of others.
 Taswiyeh literally means “to settle”: We negotiate between parties
and help them find a solution to their disputes
 We manage the process but the ultimate decision lies in your hands
The success of Taswiyeh may well be determined by the two
main types of skills:
Process & Negotiation Skills
Subject-matter Knowledge
