Will the Minister of NEW AND RENEWABLE ENERGY be pleased to state:
(a) whether the Government has distributed solar water pumps to small and marginal farmers
from Central Financial Assistance under Pradhan Mantri Kisan Urja Suraksha evam Utthaan
Mahabhiyan (PM-KUSUM);
(b) if so, the details of solar water pumps along with their capacity distributed, State-wise;
(c) the number of beneficiaries from Rajkot, Morbi and Sabarkantha districts of Gujarat who
have availed the benefits, district-wise;
(d) whether any targets have been set for distribution across the Gujarat;
(e) if so, the details thereof, district-wise; and
(f) if not, the reasons therefor?

(a) to (f) Under the Component-B of the PM-KUSUM Scheme, Government has sanctioned more
than 3.59 lakh standalone solar water pumps for farmers including small and marginal farmers in
various States/UTs across the country. This includes 2000 pumps allocated to state of Gujarat in
FY 2020-21. The state implementing agencies have reported installation of more than 82,400 solar
water pumps of capacity 1 HP to 10 HP as on 28.02.2022. State/UT-wise sanctions and
installations are given at Annexure. The district-wise number of beneficiaries from Rajkot, Morbi
and Sabarkantha districts of Gujarat under Component-B of PM-KUSUM are as given below:
