Mr. Dutton had lived and worked in 4 different countries since 2001: Vietnam, Tonga, New Zealand, and China. In Vietnam, he taught at an international school and enjoyed the friendly people and culture. In the small island country of Tonga, he volunteered on various projects with his family. They then moved to New Zealand so his wife's mother could receive medical care. Through these international experiences, Mr. Dutton gained an appreciation for migration and different cultures. He believes migration benefits both developing and developed countries by increasing diversity.
