These are our class poems....

1. summer
A summery day the burns on my back the glistening sun burns
my back
Sssss, ooowww,
The stinging sizzling sun
burningmy house the sun burns my back

2. The park is lovely
The children are like jumping kangaroos
Swing slide jump
Squeak slowly the swings go
Monkey bars reaching out to swing
Same as beginning I love going to the park

3. I love going to the beach on a hot summer’s day
I see people swimming in the crashing water
Crash! Splash! Swoosh Wee hooo!
Silly Sam surfed down an enormous wave
I saw a shell chasing after the seaweed.
One great day at the beach
