President-elect of the Southern Baptist Convention Ronnie Floyd leads Cross Church in Springdale, Arkansas, as senior pastor. Back in 2001, Cross Church was still known as the First Baptist Church of Springdale. It was renamed as it grew into a multi-campus ministry under the leadership of Ronnie Floyd.

2. Introduction
 resident-elect of the Southern Baptist Convention Ronnie
Floyd leads Cross Church in Springdale, Arkansas, as
senior pastor. Back in 2001, Cross Church was still
known as the First Baptist Church of Springdale. It was
renamed as it grew into a multi-campus ministry under
the leadership of Ronnie Floyd.
The First Baptist Church of Springdale was established
by 13 individuals in 1870. Throughout the years, the
church congregation grew in number and underwent
several changes until it found its permanent location, in a
330,000-square-foot property on Johnson Road. Cross
Church Springdale now holds contemporary worship
every Sunday, and regularly conducts event gatherings
such as Freedom Weekend.

3. Cross Church Springdale
 For $55, students in grades six through 12 can
attend Freedom Weekend. Featuring speakers Jeff
Wallace and Tony Merida, the 2017 event gathers all
youth members of Cross Church for two days of
informative and engaging ministry activities. Sunday
worship service will be led by Shane Schauer.
The upcoming Freedom Weekend will take place
February 3-5, 2017.
