Charles Darwin is quoted as saying "It is not the strongest of the species that survive, nor the most intelligent, but the one most responsive to change." One of the main reasons people resist change is because they focus on what they are giving up rather than what they may potentially gain. And it has been mainly in my professional career that I have seen change happen the most frequently.
