Second we select key Prices
First we select E22:E26   in the name box



                            Third we press the Enter   Key
                            the cells are now named
                            Prices
Naming G14:G18
                    DollarSales
                                    Second we select key
First we select G14:G18             DollarSales in the name
                                    box




                                  Third we press the Enter   Key
                                  the cells are now named
                                  DollarSales
Naming G19
                      TotalSales
                                     Second we key TotalSales
First we select G19                  in the name box




                                   Third we press the Enter   Key
                                   the cells are now named
                                   TotalSales
From the Formula Tab


Select D22:D26.




                        Click / press   Create from Selection
                        use the left column to create Range Names
                        Automatically.
From the Formula Tab


Select D22:D26.

                          Click / press Create from Selection


                          Check the Left Column column to create
                          Range Names Automatically.
Named Ranges
are created.
Under the Data Tab

          In the Data Tools group

                     Select What-If-Analysis

                               Select Scenario Manager…


                               Scenario Manager opens
                               Select Add
Under Scenario
name enter:                         Press F3 the Paste Name
Current Prices                      dialog box opens.




                                       Select Prices Select OK


 In the comment section add This Scenario
 shows sales at current prices.
The Scenario Values dialog box opens
Since we do not want to change the
prices on the Current Prices we will just
select OK.
Exercise 9-3 Adding Scenarios
to the workbook.
With the Scenario Manager dialog box
open.
We select Add
With the Add Scenario dialog box open.
In the Scenario Name:
We Key Reduced Prices



                            We Tab to Changing Cells We notice that
                            E22:26 are selected which is what we Want




                                            We select OK



We Tab to Comment: and add :This Scenario
shows sales at Reduced Prices
With the Scenario Values dialog box open.

                   We Change the prices to a Reduced Amount




                                                    We select OK
The Scenario Manager dialog box opens.

                  We want to Add to the Scenario.
                  We select Add




                                                    We select OK
With the Add Scenario dialog box open.
In the Scenario Name: We Key Increased Prices


                               We Tab to Changing Cells We notice that
                               E22:26 are selected which is what we Want




                                                We select OK



We Tab to Comment: and add :
This Scenario shows sales at Increased Prices
With the Scenario Values dialog box open.

                   We Change the prices to an Increased Amount




                                                    We select OK
