A case study paper on the Hattah Lakes to refine the Eco Modeller software tool which predicts habitat availability under different watering scenarios. The software refinement was directed through a real world application of quantifying the changes in habitat availability for many species at Hattah Lakes under predevelopment and current development flow scenarios.
About Eco Modeller
Eco Modeller is an ecological modelling software for building, storing and running quantitative models of ecological responses to physical and biological factors, for use in comparing the merits of alternative natural resource management solutions. It was initially developed to quantify the ecological consequences of different watering scenarios, but can also be applied to non-aquatic scenarios.
