The document describes a mathematical group task on parallelograms. It includes the members of the group, descriptions of parallelograms and their properties, formulas for calculating the area and perimeter of a parallelogram, and an example quiz problem to find the base of a parallelogram given its area and height.

4. DESCRIPTION OF PARALLELOGRAM
A parallelogram is a quadrilateral in which
both pairs of opposite sides are parallel.
Special relationships are a reality between the
measures of consecutive angles, opposite
angles and opposite sides of a parallelogram.
The square is the most obvious parallelogram,
because it has 2 sets of parallel sides.

5. PROPERTIES OF PARALLELOGRAM
1. Diagonals of a parallelogram bisect each other
2. Opposite sides of parallelogram are parallel (by definition) and so
will never intersect
3. The area of a parallelogram is twice the area of a triangle
created by one of its diagonals
4. The area of a parallelogram is also equal to the magnitude of the
vector cross product of two adjacent sides
5. Any line through the midpoint of a parallelogram bisects the area
6. Any non-degenerate affine transformation takes a parallelogram
to another parallelogram
7. A parallelogram has rotational symmetry of order 2 (through 180°).
Of t also has two lines of reflectional symmetry then it must be a
rhombus or an oblong
8. The perimeter of a parallelogram is 2(a+b) where a and b are the
lengths of adjacent sides.

6. FORMULA OF AREA
The area of the parallelogram is the area of the
blue region, which is the interior of the
parallelogram
AREA = B x H

7. FORMULA OF PERIMETER
The perimeter of parallelogram is the total of all of
the side from parallelogram , which mean the side
B plus side E plus side C and then plus side D
Perimeter = AB + BC + CD + DA

AB = DC AD = BC
Perimeter = 2 (AB + AD)

Solution
known :
A = 1410 cm2
H = 47 CM
Unknown :
B = ?
B = A : H
= 1410 : 47
= 30
