When ambition seized her husband, she asked him to
lower its taxes. The count said he was going to
Coventry Lady Godiva on horseback, but without
clothes, she did so, but your neighbors to see. The
chosen day Lady Godiva walked naked through the
village, mounted his horse, while all Coventry residents
remained in their homes locked and windows closed.
So she did and finally the count recess taxes.
