2. • This CME enables Ayurvedic health professionals to
develop refined scientific knowledge and practical skills
to improve the management of people with chronic
skin disorders. It is suitable for Practitioners with and
without specialties, final year BAMS students,
internees, PG scholars who want to consolidate their
professional competence, diagnostic skills and appraise
and make use of the best available science based
evidence to support treatment of commonly occurring
acute and chronic dermatological conditions such as
acne, eczema, dermatitis and psoriasis, hair and nail
disorders.

Examination of patients with skin disorders and
Grading severity of disease based on Ayurvedic
science based evidences
Use of evidence based practice/clinical guidelines
in management of dermatological complaints and
systemic diseases with dermatological
manifestations based on science led evidence
based guidelines.
Evaluation of outcome and documentation of
case studies in SBEBA structured format of
decision making .
4. 6-8-16 –DAY 1
• 2PM-3PM – Principles of basic and applied
science of Ayurveda to scientifically approach
and intervene upon any clinical case.
• Evidence Triad Approach- The standardised
evidence pyramid formulated for Ayurveda
medical practitioners for science led evidence
based practice in Ayurveda.
5. 7-8-16 –DAY 2
9AM -5PM
• Diagnose and treat all skin ailments proficiently
by principles of Science Based Medicine .
• Utilise diagnostic treatment based science led
evidence based guidelines pertinent for the
clinical situation and maintain up-to-date
knowledge on all types of skin ailments as wella s
skin manifestations of systemic ailments and DO
