BEHAVIOUR

CONTRAST TO
‘NORM’

Believe that the USA is superior
and only they can solve the entire
world’s problems. This is signified
through the films title “Team
America: World Police” which
shows only they can regulate the
world. Also, the song “Fuck Yeah”
plays when they
embark, indicating that they are
patting themselves on the back
and very patriotic towards their
own cause to show their power
and capability on the world.
During this scene, multiple heavily
armed, American flag
painted, aircraft are also seen
emerging from an American
landmark which further shows
their power and glorifying it with
their own colours/uniform. This
stereotypes America as the
superpower that controls/saves
the world and they know it. Other
stereotypes about other countries
are shown. This includes all middle
eastern people are terrorists with

USA causes a lot of
problems in the
real world, they are
in $100 trillion of
debt and are in a
government
shutdown.

BEHAVIOUR

Christian (Gay Character),
without hesitation,
punches Phil Mitchell
(strongest character of
Very Masculine which
show and “Town Bully”) in
contrasts to the “Weak” the face. This connotes
portrayal.
that he is a person that
sticks up for himself and is
not considered “Weak”.
This is a countertype as it
goes against the usual
stereotype of gay people
being too weak to defend
themselves or too
feminine to put up a fight.
