Cinderella lived with her mean stepmother and stepsisters who made her do all the hard work while they enjoyed luxuries. When the king's son announced a ball, Cinderella's fairy godmother helped her get ready by transforming a pumpkin into a carriage and mice into horses and footmen. At the ball, Cinderella danced with the prince but had to flee at midnight, losing one of her glass slippers. The prince searched for the girl whose foot fit the slipper, and finally Cinderella was revealed when her foot fit perfectly into the slipper left behind. Cinderella and the prince married and she lived happily ever after, no longer with her cruel family.
