3. YULIA was born on April 3,
1992 in Grozny city. The first
classes of swimming began in
Volgodonsk sport school
under direction of her father,
who played a major role in
Yulia’s first success at sports
In her childhood Yulia went to acrobatic school and art-school
in Volgodonsk. She likes to draw very much till now and
would like to be a designer one day when she finishes her
sport career
4. Till 19 years old Yulia was
trained by Irina
Vyatchanina, Honored
couch of RF in Taganrog
city.
In 2011 she left to USA,
California, and now
trained by American
famous coach David Salo.
5. In Year 2007 Yulia became three-time
Gold medalist at European
Championship.
It was her first big triumph.
In 2008 Yulia was nominated by the
All-Russian swimming Federation
as the Best swimmer of the Year
and was named “The Year
Discovery”
This year in Barcelona she won two
gold, one silver and one bronze
medals at the World championship!
