originally made in Mexico
and then brought to the
United States. Hispanics
use them to try to
recreate their favorite
dishes like how they are
served and made in their

Vallarta is also
well known for
their bakeries.
Everything is
made by hand

people who are
experienced in
baking. Once
made they
decorate their
pastry and put

display. This

In the bakery, one main
food product that is
made are called
“conchitas” in Spanish.
Which is basically
bread, sugar and dye.
They come in different
colors and flavors from
chocolate, to strawberry
and vanilla. These
“conchitas” are very
known for there sweet
taste. Many Hispanics
love eating these
breads with a cup of
coffee.
