In India, near about 600,000 are villages in which 75% rural are depend on agriculture, little work
field, little incomes, lake of infrastructures, But in Last 10 years with Indian government increasing its
spending, Rural consumers income is increasing. According to 2002 - 2003, there are many company
have grow up by villages to sailing their product.
2. As :
• the 30 million Kisan Credit Cards issued in villages as well as 25 million credit and debit cards
issued in urban etc.
• In this way LIC sold 50 percent of its policies in rural India .
• Of the two million BSNL mobile phone connections, 50% are in small towns and villages.
• Of the 20 million who have signed up for Rediffmail, 60% are from small towns .
• TATA , LG or Britannia, you can think any company who sail their product with double turn-over
in crore in a first time.
So, we can say that there are more population in villages than urban and the villagers are used a lot
of source.
3. Future :
• In 20 years rural Indian market will be larger than the total consumer markets in countries such as
south Korea or Canada today.
Structure of Improving :
40% to 50% villages connected with roads.
Of the 70% water supplied for villages.
Of the 80% to 90% villages connected with
phone.
Of the 80% villages have electricity.
Only 27% to 40% villagers have BPL cards.
Of the 80% to 90% villagers have house.
