The syllabus covers the bacteriological, mycological, virological and parasitological aspects that includes disease caused in human beings, its pathogenesis ,lab diagnosis ,epidemiology and treatment .After completion of 3 rd year 6 months internship in hospital is mandatory. Scope The scope of medical microbiology encompasses biomedical scientists who work in clinical chemistry, transfusion science, immunology, virology, mycology and bacteriology.
