Nearly all the Empire covers
feature men, usually heroes,
but sometimes they feature
villains.
All of the men are
powerful. The poses
range from standing tall
and imposing, to a more
action pose, but all of
them are designed to
make the subject look
very powerful.
Men On Empire Covers
There are two types of eye
lines; looking straight at the
readers, and looking into the
distance. Looking at the
reader build strength and
toughness, almost like
theyʼre ready to fight you. It
has conviction. When
looking into the distance
they still have great focus,
theyʼre looking at something,
sizing it up for a fight. Both
have an aggressive look.
