Legacy companies are falling like dominoe to disruptors – Uber, Linked – fundamentally changing taxi cabs and recruiting industries ….just this week we saw Sears filing for bankrupty – Sears!
Amazon Goggle Facebook poised to disrupt every industry like healthcare and grocery – Starting to see this take shape – Berkshire Hathaway and JP Morgan Chase and Amazone – Jan 2018.
1.) Regulatory burdens – traditionally protected companies from new entrants – great example of this is AirBnB – years ago no one would have anticipated of renting out their hour or back bedroom, the existing regulations didn’t clearly apply …how many new MA plans did we all see in the recent CMS star rankings?
2.) Today’s healthcare cost models are time consuming – it’s hard to get cost comparisons apples to apples … Customers have to work – great examples are Telsa & Mattress Casper selling direct online – taking out the hassle
3.) Third signal often exists as a side effect from the first two. When your members or providers contact your A&G department are they delighted to interact with you?
