Dear Ms. Chapman,
As a senior at the University of Indianapolis, I am currently looking for an
internship opportunity that is relative to my major, which is Sport Management. I am
also a Business Administration minor at the university and will be graduating in May,
2010. I visited the Pacers website and saw that there are opportunities for internships
in the ticket sales department of the organization. I am very interested in possibly
acquiring an internship of this caliber.
The interest that I have for this position stems from my desire to be in a
competitive field. I am very competitive by nature, outgoing, and have a very easy time
communicating with people of all types. My Sport Management background has made
it very easy for me to understand the concepts of professional organizations. The
bottom line is putting people in the seats and I am more than willing to do everything I
can to make that happen, if given the opportunity. I have done security for the Indiana
Pacers and have attended many Pacers games, so I am very familiar with Conseco
Fieldhouse.

summarizes my qualifications, training, and experience. I would love to have the
opportunity to take part in a personal interview, if possible. My schedule is very flexible.
