2. Introduction
IT professional Peter Berkov joined Petaluma,
California’s MarketLive, Inc., as a security manager in
2007. When he is not overseeing PCI compliance and
other security matters at MarketLive, Peter Berkov
engages with a variety of San Francisco-area
community groups and nonprofits, including the St.
Anthony Foundation.
The St. Anthony Foundation provides an array of
services to San Francisco-area residents who are
living in poverty. Among its initiatives, the organization
maintains the Free Clothing Program. Unlike some
clothing donation programs, St. Anthony’s accepts
undergarments, including underwear and bras, as
well as socks. In fact, these items are generally
among the most needed.
3. Free Clothing Program
Clothing for larger individuals and babies are also
in need, as are children’s and men’s shoes, jeans
for boys and men, and jackets. The foundation’s
Free Clothing Program accepts blankets and a
variety of additional items, as well.
Clothing donations can be made at 121 Golden
Gate Avenue. The organization prefers clean,
new or like-new garments. To learn more about
donating or volunteer opportunities, please visit
the St. Anthony Foundation online at
