Foundation is to support the
development of strong
neighborhoods through
collaborative planning,
community action and
policy advocacy. The
Foundation will work
toward expanding and
improving the
opportunities, choices and
resources that respond to
identified community needs
and interests. Much of the
Foundation’s work will be
achieved through
conducting revenue
producing activities,
awarding grants, providing
educational and technical
assistance and human
services throughout the
North Dallas metropolitan
and suburban areas. The
focus of the Foundation
includes Economic and
Educational Development,
Physical and Mental Health,
Political Awareness, and
Social Action.

2. COMMUNITY PROGRAMS
NDSF seeks out and invests in programs that are striving to create long-
term, positive change. We seek to create systemic change by funding
programs that meet the immediate and future needs of our community.
NDSF seeks to advocate for the development of economic and educational
equality, awareness of physical and mental health disparities, and
eradication of social and political injustice.
With your support, NDSF can continue to fulfill its
mission toward expanding and improving
opportunities, choices, and resources to identified
community needs and interest.
NDSF recognizes the need to offer a variety of
options to our donors. The Foundation offers
customized funds based on donor's needs enabling
donors to select the most appropriate match. Funds
are allocated to support new initiatives as well as on-
going programmatic thrust.
NDSF seeks to partner with national and local
organizations whose primary mission and goals are
aligned with the mission of the Foundation of creating
strong communities. With the help of partnerships, the
Foundation will continue to have the ability to
strengthen and increase its resources to implement the
initiatives outlined in its mission.
