Youfan 有饭儿 is a Chinese social platform for foodies. Offline, Youfan organizes people (人）with similar interests and tastes to small group themed dinners (饭局－情) at unique restaurants (饭馆－味). Online, people share their food adventures with friends in their in app social feed (饭团). The goal is to use food and mobile phones as a tool to enhance urban livability by creating more opportunities to build real friendships. Youfan was submitted as an idea in the spring of 2014 at Shenzhen Startup Weekend.
