1. Horse sports is representing your school at a horse competition, were you compete in events against
other schools. I have been competing at horse sports for Timbumburi for 2 ½ years. The days are lots
of fun for me and my horse. I have to practice on my horse after school before an event, then I wash
my horse and plait his mane and clean my gear ready for the next day. The next day we get up really
early , to go to the competition. When we get there we saddle up my horse then hop on and warm up for
the first event. In the morning we do ring events, which are pony hack, riding class, bareback rider, and
pair of riders. My favourite out of these classes is the hack class. .
Then we have lunch, and change our uniform into our sports tops for the sporting in the afternoon.
Sporting events are timed, the fastest is the winner, there is lots of different types , the main ones
are Barrels, Bending, Keyhole, and Flag race. My favourite is Barrels. At the end of the day there is a
presentation, for the high point score champions in each age group, and for the School high point
score. My first Pony I rode for Horse Sports was Notey, then I got Panda, and we have won many
ribbons and the School High Ponit Score once. .
3. I have had my new horse’
Bazz’(View Bank Barista)for
one month, we have been to
