US New York, June 19, 2008 - During a visit last week to the Peoples Republic of China to review the performance of the firm’s LifeLocator® Search and Rescue System, UltraVision Vice-President Bill Lozon met with several regional rescue teams from Chengdu, Chongqing, Beijing, the China International Search and Rescue Squad and the Hebei Fire Brigade. During the visit, Mr. Lozon was able to document several instances where LifeLocator saved lives including one victim buried for over 70 hours! Fire officials from the Chongqing Fire Brigade, the Beijing Rescue Squad, and Hongbo Si, Manager of the China International Search and Rescue Organization (CISAR) all of which played a role in the rescue effort also lauded LifeLocator’s ability to save valuable time by identifying search areas where no living trapped victims were detected thereby allowing rescuers to focus efforts on other areas while reducing risk of injury of the rescuers themselves.
