My professional interests concern the analysis of IT-systems with respect to their security as well as the architecture, design, and realization of security for them. In particular, this refers to distributed IT-systems as well as security technologies that are based on cryptographic mechanisms. Security protocols and infrastructure are a key aspect of my work. In the recent years, I have been focusing on Identity and Access Management (IAM). This topic intersects IT-security with respect to authentication, authorization, and SSO.
