Profound Reflections
From An Anonymous Thinker
2
Michael Schumacher ranks first
among Formula One drivers by
number of fastest laps (77)
He was born on January 3, 1969
in Hürth, Germany
3
Racing legend Michael Schumacher
suffered a severe head injury while skiing
at the exclusive Meribel resort in the
French Alps on December 29, 2013.
4
Happiness was his until that fateful day while
skiing with his 14-year old son. The tragic very
serious accident left him in a comatose state.
His wife had to sell goods to cover the
expenses and thus be able to keep him alive in
a room adapted in his house,
where he lies like a vegetable.

Reflections
* Who is better than who?
* Life can take directions never imagined.
* It's amazing how everything
can change in an instant.
No one is exempt from anything.
6
In the face of grave illness or
impending illness,
are the following still significant ?
Are they our true possessions?
MONEY TITLES FAME
SUCCESS POWERPOSSESSIONS
7
We are all the same –
mind and corporeality
Birth, Old Age, Sickness , Death
8
Why The PRIDE or
EGO?
9
Why The Anger Or Hatred?
10
Why The GREED?
11
Why The ATTACHMENT
to Things and Views
12
All we have is the moment to
moment we can live with meaning
and righteousness to the fullest,
doing good, serving others in need
mindfully and with joy.
13
We need to stop unwholesome
actions of the mind, speech and body
and learn to let go of insignificant
things that bind us
more and more to Samasara.
14
We are born without
bringing anything ...
we die without taking anything,
absolutely nothing!
15
And the sad thing is that in the
interval between life and
death, we fight for what we did not
bring and even more
for what we will not take ...
16
Think about that.
Let's live spiritually, let's love more.
Let's have Right View, understand
others more and show Compassion.
17
Let’s strive on diligently along the Noble
Eightfold Path practicing ardently
Dana, Sila and Bhavana.
18
The End May we all live life
most meaningfully.
May Love and Wisdom guide us
constantly.
May we walk The Middle Way
ardently.
With Metta, Bro. Oh Teik Bin
