The 2019 Terra Sportz comes in a range of sizes, from the Mini Terra Sportz (at
6.87m overall) to a 9.24m Terra Sportz model. If you’re a very picky traveller and
do not see yourself in any of the proffered layout options, the vans are
completely customisable, with some models offering a third single bed depend-
ing on the size of your family.
Built to endure anything the craggy country terrain may throw at it, the Terra
Sportz has a waist of gunmetal checker plate that extends all around the van and
matte gunmetal grey front and rear, to deflect stones and other bits thrown up
from gravelly trails. Cloaked in white Nova Pro-Al sandwich panel aluminium
sides detailed with stylish orange and black decals complemented by the
matching 16 inch alloy wheels, the Terra Sportz is a smart-looking RV to take out
on the road.
Look what’s down under:
The 6-inch box section chassis, Al-Ko’s Enduro outback suspension system and a
3.5 tonne capacity Al-Ko pin coupling are the latest updates to the Terra Sportz,
adding to its sturdy build quality.
The twin freshwater tanks as well as the grey water collection tank are tucked
neatly under the trailer, and the undercarriage is fully shielded from stone
strikes by protective checker plate. On the nose, a checker plate fabricated tool
box provides storage for the two gas bottles ,a slide out generator compartment
and jerry can holders on either side. A wide tunnel booth provides additional
storage in front, and there’s more boot space in the rear as well.

Entertainment aspects
This rig ticks all the spec boxes featured in other high-end off-road
caravans—a reverse camera, LED light strips on front and rear ends, an external
shower and roll-out awning with allowances for a full outdoor entertainment
system—you can bring your 28 inch flatscreen out on a balmy evening and mount it
on the external swivel arm. The newly-added Winegard HV Sensar antenna will
ensure you don’t miss a single episode of your favourite show.

Electricals:
The appliances are powered by dual 120Ah deep-cycle batteries that can be kept
fully charged thanks to the two 160W solar panels on the roof. In a fantastic use
of space, the batteries are tucked neatly inside a compartment one of the dinette
seats.
Interiors:
The chic interiors of the RV have gotten a great design upgrade, especially with
the various colour scheme options—you no longer have to walk on eggshells
inside an RV decked out all in white after a dusty hike through the outback. The
contemporary design includes a funky purple LED strip above the overhead
cabins , leather dinette seating opposite a fully equipped kitchen, a rear ensuite
and a queen bed flanked by plenty of wardrobe space in the front—a practical
familiar layout. The bathroom and kitchen also have heaps of storage space in
the form of long drawers that neatly envelop concealed sink drains and water
lines.
Charger sockets are located at easily accessible spots-- underneath the dinettes
tri-fold table and in the bedside cabinets too, so your gadgets never die on you.
A media control unit is concealed inside one of the overhead cabinets, all of
which have a nice shiny finish and soft close doors.
The rear bathroom includes all of the features you’d expect in a van of this size: a
cassette toilet, a washing machine concealed under the vanity, and a
fully-moulded fibreglass nearside shower.
Verdict:
With its sturdy timber frame, customisable layout options and all the comforts
of a small apartment, the Terra Sportz does serve as a delightful mobile home
that you can tow along to some of the most remote parts of the country.
