Scene 1:
( after Maria’s interview) in the past were seen as people who set
beauty standards in society for non-models. But throughout the
years that has now changed because beauty standards are more
inclusive to many people with different body types, skin colour, skin
conditions and disabilities.
(After Wisdom’s interview) Instagram has become a platform
where people’s differences are being celebrated it’s become a place
where individuals go to be comforted and uplifted no matter what,
throughout the years Instagram has gained influencers and these
are the people that put their own differences and experiences out
to the world and people come to their page to relate to them and
be inspired by them.

Scene 3:
Agencies are now accepting dark skinned people, pus size people,
people with disabilities and skin conditions which goes to show that
Instagram and people who are starting to accept and own their
situations are now being accepted into the industry because they
2. are all starting to empower each other and they are not letting
their flaws stop them from doing what they want.

Models that have broken stereotypes

Model, Ashley graham
Curvy (plus size) model
She is one of the most popular faces in the modeling industry
particularly for women who classify themselves as curvy (a term she
prefers over "plus-sized"). She is known for her body confidence,
Graham has been described as an ambassador of the "real beauty"
movement, which celebrates what real women's bodies look like
rather than the impossible standards set by the fashion industry.
Scene 6:
Model, Winnie Harlow
Vitiligo model
She suffers from a chronic skin condition called vitiligo that has resulted in
her losing pigmentation on parts of her skin. She was bullied at school as a
child and had to change schools several times. She eventually dropped out
and at one point, even contemplated suicide. She began her modelling
career on Instagram and was discovered by Tyra Banks who recruited her
as one of the contestants for the 2014 season of ‘America's Next Top
Model’.
Scene 7:
Model Shaun Ross
Albinism model
He has albinism, he had to face scrutiny of his looks for as long as he can
remember. Looking different, feeling different, all because of the way the world
wants to classify you. He got called “weird,” “powder,” or “Casper.” When the
world doesn’t want to see you – or better yet, accept you the way you are – the
last thing you think you could become is a supermodel.
