OE Construction Corporation is proud to be involved with
the Colorado Construction Connection Program, a unique
partnership between construction firms and high schools
throughout the Denver Metro Area to provide students
the opportunity to explore career pathways in the field of
construction.

3. First Established in 2016
First established in 2016, the program gives companies
the chance to show students the possibilities of a
rewarding construction career, as well as to locate and
recruit the much-needed talent of tomorrow.

4. Owner Terri Olson, were proud to
host a hands-on workshop
As a participant in the program, OE Construction, as well
as Owner Terri Olson, were proud to host a hands-on
workshop for 15 Wheat Ridge High School students,
providing each the opportunity to gain real hands-on
experience with heavy machinery operation, setting
grade and numerous other site-related duties.

5. OE Construction T-shirts and
food and beverages
Olson not only provided students with invaluable insight
into the on-site construction process, but also Caterpillar
caps, OE Construction T-shirts and food and beverages
to all who attended.

6. The Colorado Construction
Connection program
The Colorado Construction Connection program, initially
created by the Associated General Contractors (ACG)
organization, “utilizes volunteer navigator teams
(consisting of a general contractor representative,
subcontractor representative and supplier representative)
that will have interaction with participating high schools
and serve as guides to a wealth of great information and
career opportunities in the construction industry.”

7. Officially rolled out in the 2017-
2018
Officially rolled out in the 2017-2018 academic year, the
program currently includes the participation of 11 schools
throughout the Metro Area, with plans of up to 11
additional schools added in 2018-19.
