Breakfast at the hotel. Panoramic visit of the city and its symbolic places: Venice Square, Roman
Forum, Vesta Temple, Colloseum (exterior) Constantine Arch, Tiberian island, Sant’Angelo Castle,
Via Veneto, Baths of Caracalla.
Free afternoon for activities in the eternal City. Dinner and overnight in Rome.
Day 4 – SUNDAY 27 APRIL 2014 – CANONISATION
BREAKFAST. HOLY MASS TO ASSIST THE BEATIFICATION OF POPE JOHN PAUL II & JOHN XXIII. RETURN
TO THE HOTEL IN THE AFTERNOON. Dinner and overnight in Rome
Day 5 – MONDAY 28 APRIL 2014 - ROME – SAN GIOVANNI ROTONDO
Breakfast. Departure to San Giovanni Rotondo, home of the Shrine of Pope Pio. Visit the Convent
he lived in and the Sanctuary. Opportunity to assist the Holy Mass and by night the Holy Rosary
ceremony. Dinner and overnight in San Giovanni Rotondo.
Day 6 – TUESDAY 29 APRIL 2014 SAN GIOVANNI ROTONDO - LANCIANO – CASCIA - ASSISI
Breakfast in hotel. Departure to Lanciano, where you will have the chance to visit the Sanctuary of
the Eucharistic Miracle. Optional Lunch. Departure to Cascia, for a short stop in the renowned
Sanctuary of Saint Rita. Our journey continues to the town of Assisi. Dinner and overnight in Assisi.
Day 7 – WEDNESAY 30 APRIL 2104 ASSISI
Breakfast in the hotel. Take your time to visit the Basilica of St. Francis, where you will see
masterpieces by Giotto and Cimabue, and visit his holy grave in the interior of the Basilica. Visit the
principal Franciscan sanctuaries in the city. Breathe the harmony and the peaceful atmosphere
of this enchanting medieval city. Dinner and overnight in Assisi.

2. Day 8 – THURSDAY 01 MAY 2014 ASSISI – ORVIETO - ROME
Breakfast in hotel. Departure to Orvieto, where we will have free time to visit its’ Magnificent
Cathedral and the little streets, a town considered to be one of the most beautiful in Italy,
because of its middle age architecture. Departure back to Rome. Dinner and overnight in Rome
Day 9 – FRIDAY 02 MAY 2014 ROME Breakfast in hotel. At the indicated time, pick up and transfer
to Rome Airport.
