1. THIS IS HOLY WEEK:
We’re now in the middle of
the most important week in
the Christian calendar:
Holy Week, which begins
with Palm Sunday and
climaxes with Resurrection
Sunday.
● This year, OCEC will be
offering a 7pm Good
Friday Communion
Service that will focus
on the Stations of the
Cross. I think it will be
a meaningful service.
Please come if you can.
● Resurrection Sunday is
traditionally the highest
attendance Sunday of
the year. We’ll encour-
age some of our regu-
lar attendees (like you!)
to park at Gardiner
Middle School that day
in order to free up
spaces for guests in
our parking lots.
Shuttle service will be
provided from Gardiner
to OCEC and back.
Of course, our most im-
portant preparation for
Holy Week is spiritual.
Please pray for Christ to
be revealed and lifted up
in our worship gatherings.
GOSPEL SING 2010: A
beloved tradition at OCEC
is our bi-annual Gospel
Sing concert, which this
year is scheduled for
Sunday, May 17 at 6pm.
Thank you for your input
in selecting some of the
songs for our concert. I
asked you to rank 9 fa-
vorite Gospel Sing titles
from our choir library and
I’m sure you’ll be inter-
ested to see the results of
your voting. Here they
are:

CHOIR NOTES
I’ll use your preferences
to help guide me in put-
ting together the concert.
To the ―oldies‖, we’ll also
add some newer material,
including Giving Thanks
(from last Fall), Paid In
Full Through Jesus,
Amen and The First Day
of Forever. Get your toe
warmed up and ready for
tapping!
