1. Worship : the cure for the bruised spirit!
When one worships God, one's thoughts are taken to a higher place where no
anxiety, depression, anger, or fear exists. One can feel themselves becoming calm
and relaxed as the Spirit heals their broken heart and bruised spirit. Worship is a
song from your heart that is sung to God that expresses your pain, sorrow, fear, or
anger and, as you worship, you release those emotions to God and, He, in exchange,
will release His healing power into your mind and heart as well as His strength. King
David did this often to deal with the many emotions he experienced on his way to
being King and, it gave him peace and strength. So, why not give it a try! IT is the
cure for the broken heart and the bruised spirit and it does not cost you a dime
but, is worth your time.
A bruised reed will he not break, and a dimly burning wick will he not quench: he will
bring forth justice in truth.
